Generally we recommend that the blinds be brought back to us to arrange for them to be repaired by blind specialists. We can repair most products as long as they were purchased from us and the damage is not too severe.

Some minor issues may be rectified by yourself with a phone call to Wanneroo Blinds for advice on the best way to repair it.

Window treatments can be brought into our factory to be sent back to the manufacturer or in the case of verticals, we manufacture on the premises and can do repairs or supply parts as needed.

Wanneroo Blinds stock parts for the Vertical blinds that we produce and install. For other blinds that we supplied and installed we can generally get parts sent from our Perth based manufacturer. If the blinds were not supplied and installed by Wanneroo Blinds please contact the supplier who installed your blinds for spare parts.

Vertical Blinds

Removal – The blades must be in an open position when removed and must be laid flat or rolled up carefully to ensure there is no creasing of the fabric. The blades should always be removed with the blade carrier in an open position facing the wand. Tracks can be removed by undoing the screw in front of the track.

Reinstallation – Re-screw in the track and then carefully rehang the blades ensuring you have the blade carriers in the open position facing the wand.

Slimline Venetians

Removal  – Place the blinds in the open position then raise and lock them into place.

Push back the headbox where the brackets are mounted then down in one movement

Reinstallation  – Place the back of the head box in first then push in and up into place. DO NOT grip the blades during this process.

50mm Venetians, Roman and Californian blinds

Removal – Push the headbox back and swing the bottom out releasing the headbox from the brackets.

Reinstallation  – Push the head box in and swing the bottom up, this should clip the head box back into the brackets.

Roller blinds

Removal – Commence by lowering the rollers completely then rotate the cogwheel situated on the opposite side of the chain control. This will loosen the blind which will drop out easily – be ready to catch it!

Reinstallation – Turn the cogwheel until the centre pin pops out.  The roller should then slot back in with the chain control going in first and the chain cover showing on top of the bracket to enable the chain to rotate freely when operating the roller.

Timber Venetian blinds and Creation Venetian blinds

Removal – Place the blinds in the open position then raise and lock them into place. Pull the small tabs on both brackets towards you and release the blind.

The pelmet (fascia) on the timber and creation blinds is held on by Velcro and is easily removed.
